Sunday School, Youth Club
All helpers at the Sunday School and Youth Club have been DBS checked and most are parents so you can be safe in the knowledge that your children are well cared for in your absence.
Sunday School runs every week during term time at our 10.00am Eucharist except for the first Sunday of the month which is the Family Service when children join the congregation in Church. Sunday School starts in the Church and the Leader takes the children into the vestry during the Gradual Hymn before the Gospel reading. The Leader reads the Gospel reading to the children and they have a group discussion and take part in art and craft activities, usually based on the Bible readings from that day, before returning to the Church for Holy Communion / Blessing. All children are welcome whether newcomers or regulars. Please come along and join us.
On the first Sunday of the month we have an all age family service with arts and crafts for the children to do based on the bible reading of the day. The activities are held in the side aisle of the Church. This is followed by sausages and bacon in rolls for all the congregation.
If you wish to know more about the Sunday School please contact Marion Hoare on 01707 875909.
The Youth Club meets every Sunday evening in Church House during school term time from 5.30 - 7.30pm. It is open to all children from 9 - 16 years of age. We offer lots of activities and games as well as various arts and crafts, trips out and sporting events. We also have a tuck shop.
So, if you wish to join us, and meet up with other young people in the area, please come along or contact Maureen Bruce on 01992 425499.
